Trenchless Sewer Line Repair

Blocked, leaking or burst sewer lines can wreak havoc in your yard or worse, inside your home or business. If your sewer line becomes blocked or breaks, you will begin to notice a foul odor in or outside your house or the soil around the break will saturate and may sink. Telltale signs of a sewer clog or break are:

  • Water gurgling when you flush a toilet or run a sink
  • Sewage backups at the lowest drain available in the home or business
  • Toilet water level fluctuates
  • Slow water draining

If damage has occurred to your sewer line, Best Plumbing is a full-service Seattle area plumbing company who is able to repair the damaged pipe, using trenchless pipe bursting or pipelining techniques, or we will remove and replace the pipe if needed. Best Plumbing is a certified Registered Side Sewer Contractor (RSSC) and we specialize in trenchless sewer line repair techniques, including:

Pipe Bursting

The trenchless pipe bursting technique is used to pull a new pipe through an existing pipe and fracture the old as the new pipe is pulled through it. Using the static hydraulic pipe bursting method, Best Plumbing digs two holes, one for the cone and new fiberglass pipe to enter the old line and burst the section of sewer pipe that needs repair and the other for the hydraulic machine to pull the new pipe through the existing line.

Pipe Lining

The trenchless pipelining technique or cured in place pipe (CIPP) uses a flexible membrane that is covered in epoxy and pulled or blown through the damaged pipe section and the new pipelining is then inflated. After the epoxy has cured, the old pipe is now lined and ready to be used. It is an effective way to repair longer sections of sewer or water line without having to do a large amount of digging.

PipePatch

PipePatch is best for commercial and residential customers that need to fix a targeted area of the line with heavy root infiltration, offsets, or cracks. It’s also useful to effectively repair short sections of pipe that are either too difficult or too costly to dig up and replace using more standard methods. PipePatch has been tested and proven to withstand harsh conditions and can help increase the life of your sewer or water lines.
