Trenchless Sewer Line and Water Line Repair
If your water line has burst, first shut off your water main to the house, then call Best Plumbing emergency service at 206-633-1700.
Burst pipes can wreak havoc in your yard or worse, inside your home or business. If the burst pipe is a water line break in your yard you will now have a new fountain. If the break occurs in your home or basement, you’ll now have an indoor swimming pool.
If the burst pipe is a sewer line break, your problems will be apparent, eventually. You will begin to notice a foul odor in or outside your house or the soil around the break will saturate and may sink. Telltale signs of a sewer clog or break are:
- Water gurgling when you flush a toilet or run a sink
- Sewage backups at the lowest drain available bathtubs, laundry tubs, basement drains or catch basin.
- Toilet water level fluctuates
- Slow water draining
If damage has occurred to the pipes, Best Plumbing is a full-service plumbing company who is able to repair the damaged pipes, using trenchless pipe bursting or pipe lining or we will remove and replace the pipe if needed. Best Plumbing is a certified RSSC or Registered Side Sewer Contractor.
Trenchless Sewer Line Repair techniques we use include:
The trenchless pipe bursting technique is used to pull new pipe through an existing pipe and fracture the old as the new pipe is pulled through it. Trenchless sewer line repair is used when conventional trenching isn’t an option. Using the static hydraulic pipe bursting method, Best Plumbing digs two holes, one for the cone and new fiberglass pipe to enter the old line and burst the section of sewer pipe that needs repair and the other for the hydraulic machine to pull new pipe through the existing pipe line.
The trenchless pipe lining technique or cured in place pipe (CIPP) uses a flexible membrane that is covered in an epoxy and pulled or blown through the damaged pipe section and the new pipe lining is then inflated. After the epoxy has cured, the old pipe is now lined and ready to be used.
Best Plumbing can help you understand the current condition of your sewer and water lines. We can locate your sewer line and video inspect water and sewer lines to see if any obstructions are clogging these pipes. Using our high-pressure water jet or simple cabling (rooter) Best Plumbing can get water and waste moving freely through clean pipes.
